Villa Nautilus

Situated in Costa Rica, in the Guanacaste province, on Playa Tamarindo, canton of Santa Cruz.

We live in the western part of the village just 250 meters from the beach.We are less than 200 meters from one of the best natural reserves in the National Park “Marino Las Baulas” listed as Playa Langosta, where dozens of birds come to visit throughout the day: hummingbirds, parrots, tanagers of all colors, etc.,.
A howler monkey even visited the papaya tree and you will be lucky to see it! There are also iguanas of all sizes and colors relaxing in the sun and on the treetops.

We are located in a residential area where many different nationalities reside (Italians, Costa Ricans, North Americans, French) creating a multicultural image for the city. There are many other hotels and restaurants in the area.The Institute of Spanish Wayra, for those who would like to study during their holidays, is just a hundred meters from our location.

The Nautilus Villa Guest House B & B / Studio that many have known under the name “Villa Imani Hotel “ just changed ownership, and has been completely redesigned, renovated and redecorated in September/October/November 2015 for your comfort and well­being.

This lovely guest house was completely remodeled about two years ago and operates on three levels.

On the first level, there are four studios each with their own kitchen. They are all different sizes and have their own character. The junior and senior studio apartments occupy two sides of the house and the other two look over the pool.

On the first floor or second level, reserved for the B&B, are two bedrooms, the Nautilus King and the Corail Queen Rooms with terraces private or not. Their decoration will entice you even further …Perfect for Honeymooners…

The top floor is reserved for us.
There is a tropical garden that showcases plants and flowers of all varieties around the house, creating a very romantic atmosphere.

In the front garden you can enjoy the swimming pool, a rancho that can be used as a dining area and several lounges to relax in the shade, or sun, for those interested in working on their tans.
If you go to the back of garden, there is a quiet little corner, ideal for guests looking for some ultimate relaxation and isolation.
For your well being the Villa Nautilus offers you garden furniture, sun loungers, XXL beanbags and a unique modern chill space on a Catamaran net.

We specifically focused our attention on the decor of the facility, offering our signature.

There is much talk of the “French Touch”, we just wanted to create a place like us, where we would combine the furniture and family heirlooms, things that we have collected and brought back from our trips, gifts from our friends, all merging with a beautiful tropical touch. Soft, warm colors create an atmosphere that you will not want to leave.
Although often it feels like an oasis, we recognised that you still need the ability to connect to the outside world so free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Of course, safety is a main priority … The Villa is in a secured area, with a digital code and our presence on the property 24/7.

Costa Rica is the country of Eco­tourism and Villa Nautilus strives to be as eco­friendly as possible: bio­degradable detergents, energy conservation, and consistent use of local and organic products.

Although it is not necessary to have your own vehicle, as the beach, restaurants, bars, shops and activities are primarily within walking distance… we do offer parking spaces that are directly in front of the villa if you choose to rent your own car and explore at your own leisure.
