Welcome to Tamarindo Backpackers!

Located away from the noise of town, we are just a five-minute walk to Tamarindo Beach and town center. In town, you’ll find no shortage of great nightlife, good eats and endless opportunities to explore our beautiful beaches, wildlife preserves and adventure activities.

We like to call ourselves a boutique surf hostel, with two dorms and four private rooms. We have a large courtyard and pool area, perfect for hanging out and making new friends. Save money and cook your own meals (and keep your beers icy cold) in our fully-stocked guest kitchen. Our volunteer staff live at the hostel, there is always someone around to explain the best surf breaks, help you plan your activities and give you the scoop on the Tamarindo nightlife!
