Book Heaven in Tamarindo

If you’re a book lover, look no further than the Bookstore of the Waves, also known as Jaime Peligro, located right in the heart of Playa Tamarindo.

The store may look small, but it is packed full of books covering all genres including new and collectible titles. While the majority of the books are in English, there are many in Spanish as well as other languages.

Leo, the manager, is friendly, knowledgeable, and fully bilingual. Books are reasonably priced, and best of all, you can return them for a partial refund when you’re done!

The store also carries maps, music, and even the occasional puzzle for those rainy season days, or when you simply want to take a break from the waves.
