A huge part of my coaching is not just teaching skills, but acting as a mentor, which means helping you figure out what you need to do to succeed, making sure you’re improving mentally and emotionally as well as physically, and supporting you through good and tough times alike.

A reality check

One of the most important things that I as a coach can give you is a reality check, by giving you an honest assessment of your potential. Even if you don’t intend to become a competitive player,
I can still help you to set goals for your game that are not only achievable, but that will push you.

Improvement

I can help your tennis game improve much faster than would be possible on your own, by not only spot flaws in your playing, but mainly by giving you specific instructions on how to fix them. If you’re self-taught, this task becomes much harder as, even when you can identify your areas of weakness.

Inspiration

I can be an important inspirational force for my players, as I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, and the personal connection between me and players makes that sense of inspiration stronger.

Enjoyment

Many hands make light work. Together we will not only reach your tennis goals but we will also enjoy the time by doing that.

Strategy

I will also teach you strategy, which can be one of the hardest parts of the game for amateur players to pick up on their own. I will identify your playing style and lay out the strategies that can help you defeat your opponents.
